Hailing from Eagan, MN, Jack’s passion for the arts was fueled as he grew up watching shows on Twin Cities stages. As an artist, he strives to pour everything he can into projects, and infuses his work with energy and passion. Whether it’s through classic works, contemporary plays, or musicals, Jack loves using his voice and body to transform and tell a story. As a member of the UMN BFA Acting Company of 2024, he has performed in Describe the Night (Vova), Junk (Leo Tresler), Hamlet (Horatio), Anne Boleyn (George Villiers), and Bakkhai (Guard/Ensemble). While at UMN, he also understudied Troilus in the 2023 company’s production of Troilus and Cressida, and played Lewis in Pippin. Outside of school, Jack has been fortunate enough to work with several theater companies. Credits include: The Guthrie Theater (Ensemble in A Christmas Carol), Cedar Summerstock Theater (Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde, Lancelot in Spamalot, Bellomy in The Fantasticks), Eagan Summer Theatre (Don Lockwood in Singin’ in the Rain), Merrill Arts Center (Demetrius and Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Faith Theater Company (Prince Topher in Cinderella). Alongside acting, Jack also loves writing and directing. For his Senior Project, he recently wrote, directed, and designed a new adaptation of Tristan and Isolde, which featured a cast of eight actors. You can spot him this summer as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet with Frosted Glass Creative!
