Paulina Aparicio Rosales is a vibrant Colombian and Guatemalan artist hailing proudly from South Carolina. She began her training at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts in Humanities, where she became enamored with Shakespeare’s poetry. Passionately ignited to deepen her craft, her artistic pursuit took her to the UMN/Guthrie Actor Training Program. Her favorite credits include her senior thesis one-woman show, Pachamama: of the Earth, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Hero in Much Ado, and Viola in Twelfth Night. This summer, you can catch her in Teatro Del Pueblo’s new adaptation of Romeo and Juliet: Love in a Time of Hate as Juliet once again. She believes her art is a loving embrace towards her ancestors, honoring and thanking them for this beautiful life she gets to live.
